CONWAY AECOM Receives National Highways Certification

CONWAY AECOM, Transport for London’s North West London Highways Alliance Contractor (LoHAC) has recently been awarded the ‘National Highways Sector Scheme 18’ for the Natural Environment and Landscape, including Ecology for Infrastructure.

This scheme, like all National Highways Sector Schemes, is an extension to scope for the company’s existing certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2008, the internationally recognised standard for quality management.

This is a particularly great achievement as CONWAY AECOM haven’t self-delivered the horticulture work stream before this contract and have worked closely with the incumbent TUPE horticulture team to ensure a top class service.

Certification to this standard demonstrates to clients and stakeholders that the horticultural works undertaken by CONWAY AECOM meet the precisely defined standards of this National Scheme, and is a key milestone in the company environmental plan.

Alan Murray, landscape manager for CONWAY AECOM says: "Alan Murray, landscape manager for CONWAY AECOM says: “It’s an honour for our hardworking and dedicated team to receive this award from the BSI. We’re happy to gain the recognition for our continual commitment to effective and innovative works in horticulture across North West London”
